Our Instructors

Jason Bledsoe retired from the Oregon State Police (OSP) after a 28-year career that included assignments as a Trooper, Senior Trooper, Sergeant and Lieutenant within the Patrol, Criminal Investigation, Training and Special Operations Divisions. Through the course of his career, Jason worked as an instructor in a number of disciplines related to officer survival, including serving as the agency program manager for Verbal Judo, which he has taught to OSP members since 2013.
Jason is married to his wife Tia, a fellow workaholic who works as a brand director in the spirits industry. They have an adult daughter, who recently married and is an elementary school teacher. In his spare time, Jason works hard to stay active, regularly attending Crossfit gym, playing golf and mastering pickleball.
