Our Instructors
Joshua has been in full-time ministry since 1997, serving in church pastoral roles and as chaplain. He has chaplaincy experience in private business, law enforcement, fire service, healthcare, and prison ministry. He has served as a Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) team member, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Coordinator and Wellness Program Coordinator for various agencies. Joshua has a Bachelor of Science in Bible with a Major in Pastoral Ministries from The University of Valley Forge. He earned his Master of Arts in Theological Studies (MATS) from Northeastern Seminary.
His extensive experience in every aspect of ministry and first responder support makes Joshua a perfect choice to lead our Verbal Judo de-escalation programs for faith-based communities.
Josh and his wife, Rachel, have been best friends since college and have been married since 1999. They have six boys: Jeremiah, Joshua, Jerry, Josiah, Joseph, and James. They enjoy boating in the Finger Lakes and riding on the Harley.
