Jeff Rowe

Associate Instructor, USA

In education, relationships matter.  Jeff has over two decades of experience as an administrator and classroom teacher in Maryland Public Schools. Currently, he is assigned as a Pupil Personnel Worker, working with students, families, schools, and community agencies facing challenges that include attendance, behavior, and student welfare.  He first encountered the power of Verbal Judo while serving as a police officer and has been applying it professionally and personally for nearly 30 years.

Jeff has a passion for preparing educators and students for success and has been training adults for over 12 years in crisis management.  His background includes working in a treatment facility for adjudicated youth, as well as being a foster and adoptive parent.
 

Jeff holds a Master of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in History. He is the father of four amazing children and has one grandchild.  He enjoys scuba diving, travel, personal fitness, and reading great nonfiction.    He resides in Western Maryland with his family and dogs.
