Gabe Rabess

Associate Instructor, Cayman Islands

Gabe Rabess is a Cayman Islands Regiment Commissioned Officer and Former Police Trainer with over 16 years of policing experience, working various assignments to include frontline, tactical firearms unit and the training and development unit.  The latter, he held the position as the lead Officer Safety trainer and First Aid / CPR/AED Instructor. As a front-line officer Gabe spent most of his tenure on shift as a Team leader and Supervisor, involved heavily in proactive operations, enforcement roles, investigating crime and criminal offenses within the Cayman Islands. Gabe is a fun and energetic Verbal Judo Instructor who is able to teach in relaxed yet professional manner.

Gabe is an articulate and confident communicator and a strong leader with a reputation for building and retaining highly motivated teams. He is currently working within the newly founded Cayman Islands Regiment as a Commissioned Officer preparing Troopers to assist with Disaster Relief and Humanitarian Aid within the Caribbean region, but continues to have strong ties with the Police Service.
