Education

Verbal Judo is ideal for anyone who has direct contact with students, parents, work colleagues and/or the community in emotionally charged and difficult situations. Being a teacher today comes with more challenges than before. Teachers need to be equipped to diffuse disruptions or conflicts in the classroom using non-physical means. Verbal Judo is a process of using one’s words to prevent, de-escalate or end an attempted disruption. It gives participants the advantage of knowing what to say, how to say it and why it works. Implementing the skills and strategies in the workplace will increase the safety and professionalism of every encounter. The program teaches how to treat people with respect, how to stay calm and professionally handle verbal resistance and abuse, and therefore reduce conflict. Being able to control the conflict and remain safe is the goal. Join the growing numbers of schools and universities using Verbal Judo.
