Breven Bazzar

Associate Instructor, USA

Breven Bazzar is the Senior Pastor of Encounter Church in Rathdrum, Idaho, and is also currently in the United States Army Reserve as Chaplain Candidate.  Breven served in Law Enforcement for over 8 years both with the San Jose Police Department and Coeur d’Alene Police Department.  Breven specialized in field training, DUI investigations, and crisis intervention.  He was enlisted in the United States Marine Corps for 5 years.  Breven holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Leadership through Liberty University.  He is working towards a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling at Liberty University, further strengthening his commitment to spiritual care for our military, law enforcement, and places of worship.


Having been trained in Verbal Judo, Breven has recognized the large part the training played in his successful career.  He is passionate about using Verbal Judo techniques to improve communication, fostering understanding, and enhancing safety.  When Breven is not teaching Verbal Judo or caring for those in his church, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four young children.
